Okay, here it goes…..ahhhh…I’m nervous! Writing Slade was awesome and yet probably the most stressful book I’ve ever written to date. I think mainly because the expectations were so high and I wanted to hit that expectation for everyone. So after it was released I needed a break from the series so I did Forbidden Hunger for the Romancing The Paranormal box set and then Rodeo Romance for the Summer Fire box set. I’m going to say I’m glad I did because it has given me a much needed step back and now I’m excited about the next in the Protectors Series. I have missed writing about the Warriors more than I realized, which is a good thing.
The next book will not be Jax….please don’t hate….Jax is going to be a longer book and I don’t want you to have to wait so long since Slade was released Dec. So the next book will be A Warrior Wedding and I am hoping to do my first ever preorder with this book. I promise you won’t be disappointed in this book. It starts out with a BANG! Oh, and I have the cover already. Release date will be announced soon!

Nicky, Holly and I LOVED ‘A Warrior Wedding’ – made me want to cry! It was brilliant – so glad it had a happy ending, as I can’t bear sad ones – too many in real life. We can’t wait for Jax’s story – was hoping it might be out for Christmas (good present for someone to give me!) but realise you have a lot going on and it will be worth the wait I know! YAY! Thank you Jane, Nicky and Holly! I actually did cry a few times while writing the book and wondered what the heck I was doing. LOL! I think that’s why I like to put a lot of humor in my stories because too much bad stuff in reality anymore, but I do put twists of sad and I will tick you off every once in a while with the storylines to keep ya on your toes. I hope so much to have this book out before Christmas and I think I will, but as soon as I make that commitment everything in it’s power will happen to keep that from happening haha so keeping quiet and not jinxing myself. Doesn’t matter whose wedding it is…. every book of the series is a blast! Frankly, I’m a little surprised that Jared hasn’t asked Tessa! He was the one who openly proclaimed himself ready for commitment while almost everyone else fought it. Yet, he’s never asked her to marry him and he won’t change her….hmmm, maybe he wasn’t as ready as he thought? lol!
You never know what these Warriors are going do. Half the time I think I know what they are going to do and then they do something totally opposite….haha….keeps it interesting for sure! Hugs!!!

I just wanted to say that I absolutely love your protectors series. Great sexy vamps I love them all! I have all of the books except for Adam and spade which I have on my kindle fire. I didn’t have my kindle when I ordered the first several books and am still thinking about ordering the books also to have both in book and on my kindle. I am getting ready to start the protector series over again it’s been awhile since I have ‘re read them so I will be starting today that’s how much I love this series this will be my third time to ‘re read all of them so far. This is great news! I’ve missed the Protectors SO much. While I read a lot of other authors (and there are a lot of great ones – like Christine Feehan), your series is STILL my favorite! I’m glad you’re getting back to writing about them. Even a shorter new book should tide me over until the next long one comes out!

After I read your reply, I went and bought Forbidden Hunger. I’ve now read it and it too was really good, but NOTHING is as good as your Protector series vamps!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was just introduced to your work by a friend. I must say, I normally don’t gravitate to romance type novels but this was GREAT!!!! I love the strong women and men in these books. I’m a big fan of Kelly Armstrong and others and I can’t believe I’ve missed your books in the past. I love the first book so much I found myself reading all of the books in less than a week. I LOVE THEM!!! I especially loved how I laughed out load at Sid in many occasions and how I my heart broke at times only to fall in love and hard too. Please keep writing….I can’t wait for the next book in the series and I will for one be the first to pre order.
