On the hunt…

Okay my wonderful peeps, it’s time to start hunting down the perfect male specimen for Jared’s book. I have been looking around some, but now it’s time to get serious. When I first started writing Damon’s story I had him pictured in my mind as did my beta readers who read the book prior to the cover art. I found a few, which I wasn’t really happy with, but I knew it was coming down to the wire and I had to do something. I would send the pictures of hunky men out to see what my beta readers thought and each felt the same as me….they weren’t right. Why $.99?

I have been ask quite a few times why I have my book for sale at $.99. A few wonderful readers have also said they would have paid more, God love them. For me it’s not all about the money. Now don’t get me wrong. I would love, I mean absolutely love, to write full time as my regular job, but I am realistic. I am a unknown in a very competitive market with a lot of awesome talent. My main concern right now is to be heard, or be read in this case. Most would be more prepared to take a $.99 chance on someone they have never read. Hopefully that is the case and once they read Damon they will want more and continue to follow me.
