Okay, I have posted a lot of stuff about writing, life and serious stuff. Tonight me and my son Cody have had some serious laughing fits so I thought I would share. Been in a funk lately and needed a laugh.
What got us tonight is my husband, God love him, gets control of the remote and turns something on and then falls asleep after five minutes. Well usually we want to watch something else so it becomes a recon mission on getting the remote without waking him. Well tonight the mission was a total failure with Cody getting busted red handed. Cody jumped the gun, going for the remote before the target was snoring. As I sit here staring at my computer trying not to even crack a smile I text Cody who is in the kitchen…busted, burn, sizzle….I hear Cody in the kitchen giggling which sends me into a fit of giggles. We are now both busted.
Okay 15 minutes has passed and Cody is going in again for one last attempt to gain control of the remote. He is standing creeply over his dad slowly reaching for the remote……almost there……he’s made contact…..slowly pulling back…..oh God he’s going to start laughing….no-no he has it under control…..now stepping away…..ah, success! We now have control of the remote. But to finish the mission with total success we will wait to see if he wakes before turning the channel….2 minutes have passed. Yes, we have succeeded.
So now Cody turns on The River and there are freaking dolls…old, evil looking dolls. WTH!!! If you have read my previous posts you know how I feel about dolls. If you haven’t read them then I will tell you I hate dolls with a passion!!! Guess that’s karma for ya.
Guess I’m in charge of the mission tomorrow night. 🙂
