Man this has been one long day. Woke up early, walked around in my normal grumpy daze for a half an hour and then started edits. Ron is working on my cover which I hope I will be able to post soon. He is also checking out the download specs to Amazon, etc. so when I’m ready we can get the first book in The Protector series out there. Whoot…whoot!
Around one-thirty this afternoon we took off for Graham High School, which is a little over two hours away, for their All-Star Wrestling Preview. My son Cody won his match 8-2….congrats dude! At the preview they only wrestle one match, but so worth the trip. Two other New Richmond Lion wrestlers Tyler and JR, also won so a big congrats to them as well.
We arrived back home at midnight and I checked my email and had a big surprise. The author I posted about in a earlier post had sent her work for me to BETA read. Yes…..I started reading it and didn’t want to stop reading. It is now one-thirty in the darn morning and I am one tired chick. Ugh….
I have made a promise to myself that no matter what I would blog everyday and I would work on my writing no matter what. So here I am with eyes burning and brain slower than normal typing away. Perseverance is where it’s at peeps and I won’t let nothing stand in my way of my goals and dream. I have to say I am proud of myself for not going with my initial, “I’ll post in the morning thought” , but instead came to my site to do this blog. Now I am heading upstairs and hitting the sack.
Stayed tuned for cover soon because I am driving my husband nuts to get it done. LOL!
