I have been asked so many times why I wrote a book on vampire romance. Most probably think it’s because I want to ride on the coattails of Twilight, but nope that’s not it. I have had this book written in my mind for quite a while before actually putting it down on the page. I love the paranormal genre, but it’s not the only thing I read and it is not the only thing I want to write. I felt that with the passion I feel for vampires which happened at a young age it should be the first I go with. “Write what you know and have a passion for.” is what I always say and what I have heard from some of the best authors around.
I hope to finish with this series soon and start on something totally different and new. I don’t want to do that until I am completely finished with the Protectors Series. I have some of my awesome readers wanting more and that’s enough for me to continue. I love hearing from people who have read Damon’s story. I want to hear what they liked, what they didn’t like, what they expect from the next book and so on. I am hearing a lot of feedback on Pam and I’m listening. I was not going to do a book on her, but rethinking that one. Guess you’ll have to read Jared’s book as soon as it’s out to see what’s in store for Pam.

A special congrats to my son who placed 2nd in the Hammer & Anvil Wrestling Tournament. I am so proud of you. I actually watched every match without freaking out and covering my eyes. LOL! Tough competition!!!!
